I all I'm new the kal and to cables. I'm thinking of making the scarf with knit picks swish superwash. Any hints, tips, suggestions about the yarn and/or knitting cables for the first time would be very welcome!

welcome, nikki! You will love this project if you haven't started already. You should also check out the conquering cables kal-we're working on the ihs too! This was only my second cable project. It's SUPER easy. Easier than you think in fact!
