My Scarf so far
This is the first time I ever attempted cables - and they're really very cool. I was intimidated by them for such a long time - but they're so much easier than I thought. Here's a picture of my scarf so far. I think I'm going to give it to my dad for Christmas.

Great work! Love the colour - what wool are you using???
It looks wonderful. I like the yarn and specks of purple peppered through it.
Why handpaintedyarn.com of course! It's the softest merino I've ever found - but beware - their skeins are handpainted - which means no two are the same color. I highly recommend switching skeins every other row or knitting with two yarns together.
