Scarf Length
Just wondering how long are most people making their scarves? I understand that it's probably a personal preference, but seeing as how a lot of these are gifts... do you go by skeins instead?

Also, do you wash the finished product before giving it?

Mine were gifts for guys, so I asked my guy roomie to try it on and tell me when to stop. Usually 200 grams worth.
But for me, I used 300 grams, as I like longer scarves.

I used 2 skeins almost exactly of Wool Ease for mine. I think they're 3 oz skeins, so about 6 oz for mine.
