First Irish Hiking Scarf/First time with cables

Hi, this is my first attempt at the Irish Hiking scarf and my first time knitting cables. I love how much fun this pattern is! I knit this scarf for a friend of the family, he lives in NY. I used Knit Pick's Swish Superwash yarn in Dublin on size 9 needles.
