This is my first time with cables and I can't believe how easy it is! I love this pattern. I'm already planning to use it (or variations) for plenty of gifts this fall/winter.
I am so scared of cables but I have decided to bite the bullet sort of speak and start on my first IHS. I hope I find the cables as simple as you did. I really like the looks of this scarf and want to knit 3 for my sons for next Christmas. I figure if I start now I should be able to get them done by then. Picking the colors will be hard as they all 3 like blue, soooo I will try to find 3 variations of blue to knit them each one. I have my cable needles, not my yarn, and not my knitting needles. They will be simple to get. Thanks for your comment-it encourages me to start up on my first one. God's Blessings
