Irish Hiking Scarf #1 is FINISHED

I have finished my FIRST Irish Hiking Scarf and I love it. It is 67 inches long. I love to wrap a scarf around my neck so I made it longer than the directions called for. Here it is in all it's glory on a hot summer day by the pool. OK, I have tried to put up images several times but it is not working. Will try again later on.

This is Gedifra Fashion Trend Stripe. It is WONDERFUL yarn. I bought it in Austria in June, but it is from Italy. The yarn is 51% New Wool and 49% Acrylic. You cannot believe how very SOFT it is - feels like wearing a cloud. I could not stop working on it once I started it while in Germany in June. I just kept taking it with me everywhere I went so I kept pecking away at it. I would like to do a couple more as Christmas gifts so have to think about what yarns to use next. I will do two at a time on one needle, next time.
