I'm excited to join this group

I just found this knit along and am so happy to join. I'm knitting my first IHS and I just LOVE it. I decided I wanted to do it when I saw a photo of one. I like the way the edges sort of flow and I love cables. I'm making it out of this super soft Optimum merino which is a house branded yarn at my LYS. I like it so much that I've already purchased purple and pink to make additional ones. Now I just have to finish the first one! Here is a photo so far, the color is much richer in real life.
