This is LLA. And this is her first knitalong....

I stumbled across this wonderful HelloYarn site, and was immediately smitten by both this scarf and this KAL.

It's been a long time (high school, maybe? So a REALLY long time) since I did any cable knitting. I was quite relieved to find that it comes back rather quickly.

Ultimately, this scarf is going to my father. Who is neither Irish, nor a hiker.
I saw this "Kentucky Wildcat Blue" yarn (or, as the people at Brown Sheep call it, "Dynamite Blue". Whatever...) and I thought he might enjoy it for UK football games this fall...
