Fanned Ends?
Hi,
Anyone have any ideas how to bind off this scarf so the ends don't fan out? I used the cable cast on and it fanned somewhat but when I block it, that will go away. I usually bind off fairly tight but with needles one size larger. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I have no idea how to do it, but I'm glad to know it's not only mine that happened to. :)
My suggestion would be to bind off in pattern. Bind off the Purls by Purling and the Knits by knitting. This works the best to continue the pattern. Try not to bind off to loosely also. I hope this helps.

ditto the bind off in pattern recommendation. my scarf if on the Sept. 14, 2005 post and it doesn't fan out much.
