Irish Hiking Mittens?
I made my scarf and hat a while back. DH loves it (see picture on my blog at http://craftygal7388.blogspot.com ). I wonder if anyone adapted the pattern for a pair of mittens? I would love to knit a set for myself. I was even wondering about a convertible set. You know, the ones with the fingerless glove inside the mittens. If you do have any ideas, maybe post information here and email me at craftygal@comcast.net

You can take the wrister pattern and add fingers to it to make gloves or just knit straight continuing the cable pattern until the mittens are long enough.
