just found it

I found this knit along while I was searching for a scarf pattern to knit for the fellow I brought my (second hand) spinning wheel from.I have been spinning Icelandic Wool (with the tog and thel together) in a slubby single, and then using a navajo ply to make a chunky yarn with about 7 wpi. I used size ten needles, but it made the scarf too wide. I then adjusted the pattern a little, so I only have two cables, but the scarf measures a nice 6 or 7 inches wide. I just started yesterday, and love the pattern. I think I can finish before the end of the month, with these big needles and the chunky yarn it knits up fast!
