Knitting Olympics Success
I finished my Irish Hiking Scarf yesterday for the Olympics! This was my first cable project, and I think it turned out really well.
I used Bouton d'Or KSAR yarn on US7 needles.

This looks great! How did you end up doing the tassels? I really like the look you achieved.
Thanks, Kristi! I made the tassels following the tutorial in the Stitch and Bitch books.
As I was without a crochet hook, I fashioned one out of a paper clip!
That fringe really adds a nice finishing touch to the scarf! I think I might try that on mine! Great work!
I just wanted to add that you did a brilliant job with the tassels! They look great....
